Columbia Engineering and the CAA are excited to host a reception and panel discussion titled, "How is A.I. shaping our world" featuring Professor Shih-Fu Chang and Professor Winston Hsu

Is AI the new industrial revolution? How transformative will its effects be in our daily lives? Hear from experts on the enormous potential AI has to dramatically impact every aspect of life, from finance to transportation to healthcare. Professor Chang and Professor Hsu will discuss how partnerships between academia and industry will drive the improvement and further development of AI. Hear how both the U.S. and Taiwan are well positioned to use big data, new technologies, and exceptional talent to bring AI-based innovations to the global market.

Columbia is one of the preeminent global universities - with over 340,000 alumni worldwide, students from across the globe, eight Global Centers, and five campuses. Columbia continues to be a thought-leader in cutting-edge research, acclaimed scholarship, and an unparalleled diversity of perspectives.

We'd like to extend our gratitude to Steven Pan, Stanley Ko, and CAA Taiwan for their generosity in hosting Columbia alumni, student, and family programming in Taipei.
