Columbia Alumni Taiwan and The Berkeley Club of Taiwan are pleased to join the Intercollegiate Beach Cleanup淨灘活動 hosted by the Stanford Club of Taiwan on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Green Bay Beach 新北市萬里翡翠灣.

We invite alumni, families, and friends to come together for a meaningful day of service at Green Bay Beach in New Taipei City. By taking part in this cleanup, we can help protect Taiwan’s coastline, preserve its natural beauty, reduce ocean waste, and create a safer environment for marine life.

We hope you will join us for this meaningful intercollegiate service event by the sea!

Schedule
10:30 AM – Greeting and registration
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Beach cleanup
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM – Trash weighing and group photo

What to Bring:
Please bring your own drinking water, preferably in a reusable bottle. Cleanup supplies will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own work gloves.

What to Wear:
Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen.

Who Can Join:
Everyone is welcome. All volunteers must sign a liability waiver. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who must sign the waiver on their behalf before participation.

Drivers Needed:
If you can drive and are willing to give rides to fellow volunteers, please let us know.
