Let's come together to celebrate Earth Day by joining Columbia Alumni Taiwan for a Beach Cleanup event on April 21st (Sun.)! This year, we're heading to Qianshuiwan (淺水灣) to protect the stunning rock coast in northern Taiwan as we continue our effort in sustaining tradition for community outreach.

[Getting There]
Driving: Qianshuiwan Seaside Park has a parking lot available. The fee is 100 NTD per entry, and parking is also permitted along the roadside with white lines.
Carpool: We can help coordinate.
Public Transportation from MRT Tamsui Station:

Transfer to Taiwan Tourist Shuttle 716 Crown Northern Coast Line to Dajue (Qianshuiwan) Station.
捷運淡水站 -> 轉搭台灣好行716皇冠北海岸線至大崛(淺水灣)站下。

Transfer to Tamsui Bus 860, 861, 862, 863 to Dajue (Qianshuiwan) Station.
捷運淡水站下 -> 轉搭淡水客運860、861、862、863至大崛(淺水灣)站下。
[What to Bring]

water (bring your OWN bottle since this is a green event. The organizers will bring a few gallons)

sunblock, sunglasses, and hat, raincoat (rain or shine! 風雨無阻, 颱風另議), and a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves spirit

cash: This is a free event. Please pay for your own transportation and lunch (optional).
