Since 2015, Columbia Alumni Golf Club invites friends from Ivy League and other universities joined together for a competition every year. Teams from different universities fight for the honors while building invaluable friendships. No matter you are a beginner, weekend, or hardcore golfer, our rule is designed for everyone to participate and have fun.

We are excited to announce the 2018 Columbia Open and pleased to invite Columbia Alumni or teams from other schools to join this event.

The 4th Columbia Open golf tournament will be held on the 7th of July, 2018.

Date & Time: Saturday, July 7, 2018, 8:00. Check-in by 7:30 Venue: CHANG GUNG GOLF CLUB ( 長 庚 高 爾 夫 球 場 ) Address: No. 66, Chang Gung Golf Road, Guishan County, Taoyuan City. ( 桃 園 市 龜 山 鄉 長 庚 球 場 路 66 號 ) Registration Fee: $500 per person (not-including golf price)
$1200 per person including lunch (not including golf price)

RULES AND PRIZES:
(1) Individual scoring:
Double bogey: 1 pt, Bogey: 2 pts, Par: 3 pts, Birdie: 4 pts, Eagle: 5 pts.
*Multiply 1.5 for all female players

(2) Team score calculation:
(sum of the best 8 individual scores) + (count of contest wins)x2

(3) Team Prize:
1st Place: NT$5,000 2nd Place: NT$3,000 3rd Place: NT$1,000

(4) Individual Prize:
1st Place Gross: Titleist Pro V1x (one dozen)
1st Place Net (New-New-Peoria): Bridgestone e6 (one dozen)
Other contests (longest drive, near pin, etc.): Bridgestone e6 (3 balls)

REGISTRATION:
(1) Register by School: Each team must have 8~10 players. If a school has less then 8 players, we will assign the team to form a joint-team with another school. At least half of the players from each team must be alumnus of the represented school.

(2) Register as an Individual Player: You may register as an individual player. However, in the spirit of fun, we will group you with a school team so you may participate in the team competition as well.

(3) Due to the course reservation limitation, we will take registration for up to 3 teams.
