With the help from aboriginal students from Fu-Jen University, Columbia alumni prepared and served traditional aboriginal dishes for the homeless and enjoyed a very rewarding CCO experience. Special thanks to the generosity and support of CAA TW president Chris Wei, secretary Chingyu Yao, and event organizer Arthur Chen.
Dear alumni and friends,
Columbia Community Outreach (CCO) is the largest day of community service at our Alma Mater. Every year, over 1,000 students, faculty, staff and alumni for a day coordinate worldwide community services and lend a helping hand to give back to our global communities. We would like to cordially invite you to be part of this long-standing tradition on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
Please feel free to bring any second-hand coats/comforters (still in good condition) to the event for donation. We will learn how to cook traditional aboriginal food (mami btakan and cinavu ) with aboriginal students from Fu-Jen University. Afterwards, we will deliver the food to the homeless.
We look forward to continuing the rewarding legacy of CCO and hope to set an even greater precedent of warmth and generosity.
每一年的春季，哥大的學生、教職員與校友們都會齊力在Columbia Community Outreach這一天與各地的社區組織共同合作，並進行志願服務。今年台北市哥倫比亞大學同學會誠摯邀請您在4月15日這一天，一起來體驗原住民文化，和原住民青年攜手烹煮原住民的傳統美食，並歡迎攜帶狀況良好的二手外套或棉被，將這份溫暖傳送給街友。

12:00 – 12:20 Registration
12:20 – 13:00 Warming up with AcroYoga（ optional, please feel free to bring your own yoga mat.）
13:00 – 13:30 Learning about aboriginal culture and enjoying aboriginal music and dance
13:30 – 17:00 Preparing food (mami btakan and cinavu) and early dinner
17:00 – 18:00 Delivering food and donations to the homeless.
